This property requires a 30 day booking minimum. Ask us about shorter stays. Our custom decorated and updated beach home is between Newport and Huntington Beaches. It is professionally cleaned before every guest’s arrival. The home is 3000 sq. ft. with billiards, jacuzzi, barbecue, fire pit, and massage chair and sits on a 6,600 sq. ft. corner lot that provides space for friends and family. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 living rooms, 4 TVs, and a chef’s kitchen. It’s a 10 minute drive to Huntington Beach, and 10 miles to Disneyland. The space Everything you see in every picture is for the guest’s private and exclusive use. You’ll have full access to the backyard and house. This is an owner occupied property. The owner lives in the upstairs rear of the property and has his own private entrance. A little about the space. The home is two stories with central air conditioning and heating. There are two living rooms each with 70” TVs and seating for 8 each. There is a queen bed downstairs and a tv in the room, and a 3/4 bathroom. We have a washer and dryer with detergent for your convenience. There is a pool table in the front room. The kitchen features a gas range, oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and top-of-the-line refrigerator freezer with ice maker. The countertops are marble with a center island, and floors are travertine. There is a coffee-maker, with supplied ample coffee, blender, toaster, rice-maker, crockpot, pots and pans and utensils, cooking oil, seasonings, and paper towels. Upstairs is the Master Suite with a king bed and 55” tv. There are two other bedrooms which have hand-crafted superbly comfortable queen beds. There is a full bathroom with a separate shower/bathtub toilet area, and double sinks, blow-dryers for each sink are included. These upstairs bedrooms each have overhead ceiling fans. In the backyard there is a Jacuzzi, a covered patio with seating for 14, a gas barbecue with utensils, and a fire pit. The house is located in a very mature neighborhood. You will love the convenient location. There are grocery stores within 1/4 mile, McDonald's is 3 blocks from us, plenty of restaurants close by on Brookhurst. This quiet neighborhood has original owners which lend to its safety. We offer 2 parking spaces on the left side of the driveway, and street parking is free. Enter through double iron gates to the left of the driveway, which have a keypad lock as does the front door, for your continued privacy and safety.
Guests have a private entrance through the double iron gates which have a keypad lock to the left of the driveway. There is parking for two cars on the left side of the driveway, and free street parking for more cars. We offer self check-in at the front door which also has a keypad lock for your safety. You will have access to the house and backyard which includes everything you see in every picture exclusive to guests only. There is no access for guests to the right of the driveway through the single iron gate, that is restricted to the owner for his personal and private use. Guests will not enter or leave through the right side gate, that is prohibited. Guests may not use the inside side double doors in front of the pool table as an exit or entrance. There is no garage access. The room downstairs has a smart tv, as does the master bedroom upstairs, so just log into your favorite apps, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and you’re good to go. There is a large patio that includes a barbecue, Jacuzzi, comfortable seating for 14, and a fire pit. The interior of the space is newly remodeled with stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. All the beds are handcrafted and superbly comfortable. There is a king in the master bedroom, the other three rooms have queen size beds. The Jacuzzi is working at this time.
We want you to enjoy your stay, however we ask that you have quiet time from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am to be considerate of the owner and conscientious of our neighbors. We do not allow parties at this property. However, if you're planning a small gathering for more than eight (8) registered guests for your booking, please ask in advance to get host's approval. Total guests must be less than 14 people. If more than the allotted number of guests are on the property without first obtaining host's approval, guests will be charged $500 and booking will be canceled. No refunds will be given. For any unsanctioned gathering or party, guests will not be allowed further use of the property, be asked to leave, and also charged $500. If guests tamper with equipment, I.e., wi-fi, or Ring cameras, guests will be charged $500, trip cancelled and will have to leave the property, no refunds. If house is left extremely dirty, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $200 charged. There is no smoking permitted inside the house. You may smoke outside. If this rule is broken, we will charge $200 to remove the odor. There are no outside sound systems allowed at the property. Cats are not allowed at this property.. There is a $100 fine if discovered. Use of the Jacuzzi is entirely at your own risk, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to a guest or friends of guests regarding anything that may happen in or because of use of the jacuzzi, and we are not responsible for any liability in regards to use of the Jacuzzi, nor use of the property. No refunds. There is one Ring doorbell camera located at the front door of the property that actively records sound and video 24/7 that overlooks the double gated entrance and sees anyone entering and leaving the property. There is a Feit Camera with motion-sensor lights placed on the outside upper part of the garage and overlooks the complete driveway which also actively records sound and video 24/7. You may see the occasional possum, raccoon, squirrel or field mouse that live in the area, they’re completely harmless. Please keep all doors shut to keep out any little critters that may wander in for food. We have set small traps outside for field mice, please be aware, and keep away from these, and have your pets on a leash outside so they don’t disturb the small traps. Guests must immediately alert host to any issues regarding maintenance, request for repair service, or otherwise. Host will not compensate or refund for any issues not reported within 3 hours. Guest must also allow host and/or repairman/technician access to the property to remedy the issue after host has been notified. If guest stays after issue is remedied or addressed, there will be no further remuneration or refund. If guest is unresponsive, host will assume issue is remedied, and there will be no further action required. There may be bugs from time to time, we have a Pest Control service on call to take care of this issue. Once a House call from Pest Control has taken place and you continue to stay, there will be no refunds. Occasionally, a rock band named ‘Sublime’ will have band practice outside across the street for tour dates. They always end by 10:00 pm. I am giving notice as there may be noise from this neighborhood band. There are two small, less than 10 pound, very friendly dogs that live with the owner. The guests have no interaction with them. The owner lives on site as does his sister. The guests have use of the house and large backyard as described in all pictures, not use of the entire property. There are no shared spaces. The gardener comes on Monday afternoons, and has access to the whole property to complete his duties. Trash pickup is on Thursdays. We will message you on Wednesday evening asking you to allow us to take the trash cans to the street. No parking on the street on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm for street cleaning. We are not responsible for any personal belongings left at the property. There is a charge of $50 per person per night over 8 if spending the night. We will only allow 10 total. Once your booking has ended, you are required to give up the property and vacate per check-out rules. Also, we encourage guests to purchase CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) cancellation insurance to protect your trip as we will adhere to our cancellation policy.
